NEWS 25th June: Campsite reopens on Friday, June 27th!
Great news! Our campsite will reopen on Friday, June 27th, as a new toilet container for men arrives all the way from Southern Finland. The container is expected to be in use by Friday evening.
The weekend forecast promises sunshine and warm weather, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors!
On Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM, we’re serving up a delicious pizza buffet, including old classics and our kitchens specials such as beetroot & goat cheese and potato–kale–bacon pizza. Fresh and delicious lemon posset will finish up the dinner!

With stunning views over to lake Kilpisjärvi, friendly service and easygoing atmosphere is Kilpisjärvi Camping the best base for exploring the arctic nature and attractions of Kilpisjärvi. On our camping site you can stay in your own campervan, mobile caravan or in your tent. All of our pitches for caravans and camper vans have electric hook ups.
When staying on our camping site, you will have access to showers, toilets and a barbeque hut. In the summertime in your use there is also a kitchen with hot plates, a microwave oven and a coffee maker. We also have disposals for camper lavatories and grey water. All of these services are included in the camping prices, for an extra charge you can also use a washing machine.
All of the must see attractions of Kilpisjärvi are easily accesible when staying in Kilpisjärvi Holiday Village & Camping. The trail up to Saana fell starts right from the camping site and in the summertime you can catch the Malla boat to Three nations' border point from us.
All camping spots are filled on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved. Not to worry though, we have plenty of pitches and only on few days during the summer holiday season are they all full. Check- out time for caravans and tents is at 12 o'clock in the noon.
