How to get here

Kilpisjärvi Camping & Holiday Village is situated in Kilpisjärvi, in the most northwest point of Finland and only a few kilometers away from the Norwegian border. Kilpisjärvi is a small village surrounded by beautiful fells, with just little over a hundred residents living here all year round. We are far and remote but you know what they say about hidden pearls!

If you are not travelling by your own car, here's how to get here:

 

By bus

- Daily from Rovaniemi to Kilpisjärvi; bus leaves from Rovaniemi bus station at 8 A.M. and arrives to Kilpisjärvi Holiday Village & Camping at 4.25 P.M. Return bus daily to Rovaniemi leaves us at 1.15. P.M. and arrives to Rovaniemi at 8.40 P.M.

- During summertime there is a daily bus connection to Kilpisjärvi and Tromsø from Oulu. 

- During high seasons in the spring, summer and fall there is a bus connection to Kilpisjärvi from Kolari railwaystation on Saturdays

By train

Nearest train stations are in Kolari and Rovaniemi. Timetables for trains you can find from here  &  bus connetions from here.
 

By aeroplane

The nearest airports are in Kittilä/ Finland, Tromsø/Norway and in Kiruna/Sweden. From the airports to Kilpisjärvi you can get with a taxi, rental car or by bus.

If you are flying to/ from Kittilä, you can book the taxi beforehand from Kilpisjärvi Taxi +358 400 138 262. This taxi goes to Kittilä on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 1 P.M. ( Flight leaves at about 6 P.M.) and waits at the airport for arriving customers and comes back to Kilpisjärvi. Price for taxi is 50€/ person/ one-way.
